First released to the public in 2017 as a 4-CD set which is now sold out, this 1955 recording of Borovsky playing the complete Well-Tempered Clavier (J.S. Bach) is now available for download on Bandcamp.
From the 11" acetate tapes never before released to the public: a 4-volume set of J.S. Bach's "The Well-Tempered Clavier," (48 Preludes & Fugues) recorded by Alexander Borovsky in 1955. The original tape reels were willed to Borovsky's student George Zilzer, who in turn gave them to William Jones, student of Borovsky. The downloads include a 44-page booklet of Borovsky's notes on "The 48," researched and compiled by William Jones.

Is Borovsky's legendary recording of Liszt Transcendentals available anywhere? LP, Cd or digital would do.
Thanks
