We are now offering the 4-volume set of Borovsky's 1955 recording of J.S. Bach's The Well-Tempered Clavier (48 Preludes & Fugues) for download on Bandcamp! The physical CD set is sold out and will not be reprinted, but we hope the download version enables people to appreciate this recording for years to come. You may also listen to the recordings through the embedded players below.
To download the 4 volumes, visit http://alexanderborovsky.bandcamp.com. Each volume is $5, or you can download all 4 volumes for a discounted price of $10 (this option appears when you click on any volume - choose "Buy Digital Discography"). You may also contribute more, if you wish. Payment can be made by Paypal or credit card. If you use the Bandcamp mobile app, you can also stream the albums from there after you purchase.
Each volume includes PDFs of the 44-page booklet of Borovsky's notes on "The 48" (researched and compiled by William Jones), as well as the contents booklet from the original CD printing.

Listening as I write to the Borovsky WTK. I thought I'd heard ALL the piano versions of the Well-tempered; so I was pretty surprised to find this account, now, in 2024! The articulation, the clarity of the voices... Remarkable interpretation.
